I really enjoy exploring all the interesting videos on Gan Jing World, from travel to cooking to history - and pretty much every other topic conceivable. It's a great way to spend some free time, and I even find myself regularly learning new things, in addition to being entertained. I plan to create my own channel as well. Like many other educators and parents, I have always been intimidated by technology and social networking, but I can see how Gan Jing World is actually turning the world into a kinder, more positive and supportive one. When I see beautiful words of encouragement, well-meaning inspirational posts, videos and articles about family and ethnic traditions, and notes on appreciating the natural beauty of people's communities and surroundings, I am filled with hope that we can uplift ourselves and show that higher values exist and remain at the core of our humanity.
When I came across Gan Jing World, I was truly moved. This is a platform created for children, teachers, parents, and everyone. Now, I can curate educational resources with ease of mind, and organize teaching materials with the “collection” features. Since there is no harmful content, I can encourage children and parents to come here regularly, which can strengthen class cohesion. In the past, no one could propose a solution to the adverse effects of the internet on children. Now, Gan Jing World has taken the most challenging step. What they are doing is such a great and difficult endeavor. GJW is a wonderful new digital platform for everyone, especially for teachers and students. It’s easy to sign up. You can use your existing email account and with just one click, you’re in! My students and I have been participating in GJW’s Kindness Is Cool video contest by uploading expressions and good deeds via writing and short videos. I am not tech savvy, but I have no trouble creating content on my channel. One of my videos reached over 1,000 Likes within a few days! Everyone leaves very encouraging and supportive messages for our students and we feel a lot of goodness and kindness coming from the community. Give GJW a try and I know you’ll love it.
