Tang Li Shimin once liked Wang Xizhi's calligraphy very much, so when he was the emperor, he searched for Wang Xizhi's calligraphy works, and then all of them were collected in the inner palace, and finally brought into Zhaoling. So there are only a few copies of Shuanggou Xiangtuo left in the world. At this time, the calligraphy works of the folk Wang Xizhi were scarce.
In the second year of Tang Wu Zetian's long live through the sky, Wu Zetian ordered Wang Fangqing, the prime minister of the dynasty, to present his ancestral collection of calligraphy posts, including Wang Fangqing's eleventh generation ancestors, ten generations of ancestors Wang Xizhi, Wang Hui, nine generations of ancestors Wang Xianzhi, Wang Huizhi, Wang Xun , Until his great-grandfather Wang Bao, a family of twenty-eight people, a rare calligraphy collection that lasted for more than 300 years, a total of ten volumes, was dedicated to Wu Zetian.
Wang Fangqing originally thought that these ancestors' treasures, meat buns and dogs would never go back, but what he didn't expect was that Wu Zetian had made a completely different decision from Li Shimin.
Although Wu Zetian liked these calligraphy treasures very much, he did not take it as his own. Instead, he held a calligraphy exhibition in the hall for the officials to appreciate. After that, she found a good book in the imperial court, copied the facsimile with the double-hook outline method, and kept the facsimile in the inner palace.
And these original calligraphy and ink marks submitted by Wang Fangqing were framed by Wu Zetian, then returned to the Wang family, and repeatedly exhorted-this is the handwriting of the ancestors, and future generations must take good care of the collection!
Because of this incident, Wu Zetian left behind the reputation of "shunting the sky and protecting the first career, and following the desires of the people without considering the gold".
It is a pity that the original copy of Wang Fangqing's house was eventually lost in the long history. The ten-volume facsimiles that were collected in Wu Zetian's Mansion, after several major fire disasters, only one volume was left in the late Qing Dynasty, retaining Wang Xizhi's "Auntie Post", Wang Huizhi's "New Moon Post", and Wang Hui's Swollen Posts, Wang Xianzhi's Twenty-Nine Posts, Wang Zhi's "No Posts for One Day", etc. At present, these collections are in the Liaoning Provincial Museum and become the "Long Live Tongtian Tie", which is one of the best handwritings for understanding Wang Xi's calligraphy.

The "chuyue" is the "first moon", because Wang Xi's father is called Wang Zheng, so in order to avoid taboo, in Wang Xizhi and his descendants, they often write "chuyue".
The third post of "Long Live Tongtian Post" is Wang Hui's "Boils Swollen Post". Wang Hui is Dao Wang's youngest son, whose name is "Xiao Slave". Wang Hui was indifferent to fame and fortune throughout his life, and he was kind. It is recorded in historical records that he used his family's rations to make thick porridge to help the poor and save many people during the famine years.
Therefore, looking at Wang Hui's calligraphy, although there are ups and downs, it is like breathing, without half cramps, and writing is like running clouds and flowing water, effortlessly. It looks simple and ordinary, but the brushwork is gorgeous, and the words are jade. This is probably the education and character of the Wang family.
Wang Hui wrote a letter because of boils, but it has been circulating for more than 1600 years. Through "Boils and Swollen Posts", we travel through time and space, and it seems that we can still feel his pain.
"Long Live Tongtian Post" also left another post by Wang Hui, "Weng Zun Ti Post". Compared with "Boils and Swollen Posts", this post appears to be a lot more bold, with more pens and square folds, and the thickness and size are properly matched. , Looks very imposing.
