KREMLIN: Putin And Trump Had ‘Good Call’ – Immediate Energy And Infrastructure Ceasefire

The Kremlin reported today via its spokesman that President Putin and President Trump had a ‘good call’ and reaffirmed their desire to work towards peace in Ukraine.

Reports are now being released on the content of the call:

Putin and Trump agreed to stay in contact.

Putin informed Trump that on March 19, a 175-for-175 prisoner exchange would take place between the Russian and Ukrainian sides.

Russia and the US will set up expert groups on the Ukrainian settlement.

Putin, in a conversation with Trump, confirmed his principled commitment to a peaceful resolution of the war in Ukraine.

Putin supported Trump’s idea of ​​a mutual 30-day renunciation of strikes on energy infrastructure by Russia and Ukraine and gave such a command to the military.

Putin told Trump that there must be a stop to Ukrainian mobilisation and arming of Ukraine in the context of a ceasefire.

Trump backed Putin’s idea of organising ice hockey games in the US between Russia and US players.

Putin and Trump agreed that the movement to peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire, as well as technical negotiations on implementation of a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea, full ceasefire and permanent peace. These negotiations will begin immediately in the Middle East.

Putin and Trump shared the view that Iran should never be in a position to destroy Israel.
