It's time for Tang Di's Storytelling
今天要繼續跟大家說的是
We are talking about today
午汲小和尚的故事
This is the story of the Little Monk of Wuji Village.
我們先來回顧一下
Let's start with a review.
上一集有說到
In the last episode,
這個李財主每天要摔碗給小和尚聽喔
we talked about this Li breaking bowls for the Little Monk every day.
這個啦可是要債的方法之一
This is one way to collect his debt.
有這麼簡單嗎
But is it that simple?
到底還有哪一些要債的方式呢
What are the other ways to collect his debt?
我們會在今天跟大家做分享
We will share it with you today.
那由於這個小和尚
This Little Monk,
每天就只會玩樂
all he did was to have fun every day.
有一天他走在路上
One day when he was walking on the road,
看到村民們
he saw the villagers,
大家都在種穀子
everyone was planting grain,
然後到了秋天就會有收穫滿滿的穀穗
so that they could harvest a lot of ears of grain in the autumn.
於是他就異想天開
So he had a wild idea
他跟家裡的長工說啊
and said to the family's laborer,
耶 我問你喔
"Hey, let me ask you,
是不是種什麼就能收穫什麼啊
is it true that you can reap what you sow?”
家裡的長工說
And the laborer said to him,
那當然是啊
"Of course it is.”
於是啊
So,
小和尚就說 好
the Little Monk said, "Okay,
那我們來種元寶吧
let's plant some yuanbao.”
結果他就拿元寶讓長工給種了下去
So he took the yuanbao and asked the laborer to plant it.
過了一個月啊也沒看見發芽
After a month, he didn't see any sprouting,
於是
So
他就問長工為什麼還沒發芽啊
he asked the laborer why it hadn't sprouted yet?
就叫長工把地挖開一看
He asked the laborer to dig up the ground and saw that
咦 元寶不見了
all the yuanbaos had disappeared
全部都變成了一塊一塊的煤礦
and all the pieces had turned into pieces of coal.
那他就問長工 怎麼一回事
He asked the laborer, "What's the matter?”
長工說
The laborer said,
應該是地太乾太熱的關係
"It must be because the ground is too dry and too hot,
都把黃金燒成這個樣子了
it has burned the gold to this state."
小和尚很天真喔
The Little Monk was naive
相信了長工的話
and believed the words of the laborer.
實際上啊 是長工在晚上的時候
In fact,it was the laborer who
偷偷的吧 黃金啊偷走了
Secretly stole the gold during the night.
那什麼是長工啊
So who are these laborers?
在這邊跟大家先解釋一下
Let me explain to you first,
就是長期以來呢
they are the workers who
住在家裡幫家裡工作的工人就叫長工
live at home and help out in the family for a long time.
好 還有啊
Also,
在午汲村這個地方
in Wuji Village,
不遠處有一個非常熱鬧的廟會
there is a very busy temple fair not far from here.
每到廟會來的時候
Whenever there is a temple fair,
大家都會去趕著看廟會
everyone would rush to see the fair,
小和尚當然也不例外啦
including the Little Monk.
他跟僕人坐上了馬車要去趕著看廟會
He and his servant got into a carriage to go to the temple fair,
因為路上的人太多了
but there were too many people on the road
都把這個馬路啊給堵塞了
and the road was blocked.
小和尚就說
The Little Monk said,
這麼多人要去看廟會
"So many people want to go to the temple fair,
我的馬車的都不能往前走了
my carriage can't go any further.
這樣好了我們從馬車上啊
I think we should
灑銀兩下去
throw money from the carriage
讓這些人來撿錢好了
and let the people collect the money.”
ㄟ你這個時候啊
At this time,
小和尚就從馬車上來一路的灑錢
the Little Monk threw money from the carriage all the way to the temple.
那要去趕廟會的人啊
Then the people who were going to the temple fair
就一路跟著馬車的後面撿錢喔
followed the carriage to collect money
撿到了這個廟會的現場
all the way to the site of the temple fair,
竟然沒有一個人停下腳步來看廟會
but no one stopped to watch the fair.
哪一年的廟會的風采啊
The splendor of that year's temple fair
就被小和尚給搶走了
was stolen by the Little Monk.
那因為時間 一天一天的過去
As time passed, a day by a day,
李財主年紀也越來越大
Li grew older and older.
他生了重病
When he became seriously ill,
即將要離開的時候
and was about to leave,
即將要死掉
about to die,
他就把這個小和尚叫到了跟前
he called the Little Monk to him.
因為他知道
Because he knew that
這個小和尚是老和尚來要前世債的
the Little Monk was the old monk who had come to collect debts from his past life.
但是由於他是親生兒子嗎
But since he was his own son,
也沒辦法
he could do nothing about it.
於是他在臨終前啊
So before he died,
就交代小和尚
he left some words to the Little Monk.
他跟小和尚說
He said to the Little Monk,
你啊 因為不知道怎麼賺錢
"Boy, because you don't know how to make money,
那如果說以後為了要生活
if you have to make a living
你變賣家產的時候
by selling the family property in the future,
記得
remember,
不要把這個旱池給賣掉
don't sell the water reservoir,
這個旱池的賣水錢
because the money from selling the water in this water reservoir
一天可以幫你賺進一個金元寶
can help you earn a yuanbao every day,
它就夠你生活一輩子的
and it is enough for you to live for the rest of your life,
那你知道嗎
understand?”
說完之後李財主就斷氣走了
After that, Li was gone.
結果啊 我們說了嗎
Eventually, as we said,
小和尚從來沒有學怎麼賺錢的能力
the Little Monk never learned how to make money,
都是靠賣家產來維生
and he had to sell the family property to make a living.
他沒有聽李財主的話喔
He didn't listen to Li,
他第一個賣掉的就是旱池
the first thing he sold was the water reservoir.
在這邊先跟大家來說明一下
Let me first explain to you
什麼是旱池
what a water reservoir is here.
他其實是一個坑洞
It is actually a huge hole,
但是它有蓄水的功能
but it has the function of storing water.
村民們需要用水的時候都會來跟他們買水
The villagers would come to buy water from them when they need it,
所以他可以靠賣水來維生
so he can make a living by selling water.
結果小和尚第一個賣掉的就是旱池耶
However, the first thing that the Little Monk sold was the water reservoir.
那由於啊 他每天花錢
Since he spent money every day,
花的非常的闊氣
in a very extravagant way,
就是大筆大筆的花
like he was spending a ton of money.
很快地
Soon,
所有屬於李財主的這個錢啊
all the money that belonged to Li
都被小和尚給花光光了
was completely consumed by the Little Monk.
好故事到這裡
Okay, that's the story.
大家想想
Let's think about it,
都花光了是不是
the Little Monk has spent all the money,
也把他的前世債
has he also finished collecting
全部都討完了呢
all the debts from his past life?
所以啊這個故事其實要要告訴我們
So this story is to tell us that
我們做人啦 心一定要正
we must be righteous
還有不可以貪財
and not greedy for money.
不屬於我們的東西千萬不要
Don't take
去把他佔為己有
what doesn't belong to you!
記得時時提醒自己做個善良的好人
Always remind yourself to be a good and kind person,
心存善念 那就準沒錯啦
with good intentions, then you must be on the right track!
