This summer, youth from the Asian Youth Empowerment Hub/Clearview School visited the Community Food Bank for an enriching and meaningful experience. Food Bank Manager, Matthew Neill, led a workshop to educate the youth on the realities of poverty and the vital role food banks play in supporting those in need. Following the workshop, the youth volunteered by packing food for families, gaining hands-on experience in community service. The youth also visited the community food garden, learning about sustainable food practices and how the garden helps provide fresh produce to those in need. This trip deepened their understanding of social responsibility and the importance of caring for one another, inspiring them to take an active role in making a positive impact in their community.
