【Classical music and nature 古典音樂小站】Johann Sebastian Bach: Organ Trio Sonata No. 5 In C Major, Bwv 529, Ii. Largo. This beautiful piece was played by GarsuMene. It is a royalty free music provided by pond5.com.
Did you know that Bach was born on 21 March 1685, 340 years ago? 340 years... It is hard to believe, because Bach's music seems so timeless, with wonderful harmonies, it really seems to be music for eternity.
"Bach's organ sonatas, often called "trio sonatas", are challenging exercises for the organist.
Each of the parts, like the instruments in a trio, is usually independent of the others, the hands often working in counterpoint or dialogue, the pedals mostly acting as a basso continuo, but sometimes taking a more active role in the counterpoint. There is nowhere for the player to hide and there is a need for poise and balance.
The results can be beautiful if these challenges are met with precision and beauty of playing".
