My talkative cat, Bat, is so picky about water quality. My huskies often walk in the woods and so the dogs are used to drinking from the lake, the river and just about anywhere they can find water. I even think the huskies prefer to drink swamp water rather than the clean spring water I pour for them several times a day.  
But domestic cats are much more fastidious. My cat, Beth, is constantly dissatisfied with the quality of the water. He doesn't want to drink clean water from the bowl. This cat is constantly washing his paws in the water in the big dog bowl. And the cat prefers running water. So we decided to buy our cat a drinking fountain. But will the cat drink from it?
