July 20th this year marks the 25th anniversary of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). On July 18th, over one hundred local Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney gathered in Marin Place. Dignitaries voiced their support on the rally to call for an end of the persecution. A candle vigil was held to commemorate those who lost their lives in the persecution.
