Produced by @China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater, the epic dance drama "Princess Zhaojun" tells a heroic household story of Princess Wang Zhaojun, one of ancient China's "Four Great Beauties".


Princess Zhaojun sacrificed her comfortable palace life to marry the leader of the Xiongnu, a powerful tribal nomadic group on the then-border of northern China, in exchange for bilateral relations with the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220).
