In this video, I’ll answer the question – what is the third amendment? The Third Amendment of the United States Constitution states that: “No soldier shall, in time of peace, be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.”
Many believe that the Third Amendment is no longer relevant today, given that it’s the least litigated out of all the amendments in the Bill of Rights. The United States Supreme Court has also never issued a decision involving it, which is why it’s often overlooked and downright ignored, in favor of its more well-known counterparts.
