Life in the Dark: Polar Night, produced by the South Florida PBS show Changing Seas, has won a Suncoast Regional Emmy!

The winning episode features #WHOI researchers Kirstin Meyer-Kaiser and Kharis Schrage, who brave the cold and darkness of a polar winter at the northernmost research station in the world to find out how plankton survive those harsh conditions.
