China's Denial of Universal Human Rights

Since 2015, the last UPR in China, the persecution and forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners throughout China by the Chinese state continues unabated. Moreover, the silence and inaction of the international community has emboldened the Chinese state to commit more human rights abuses globally, including the spreading of COVID-19, the eradication of freedom in Hong Kong, political and military aggression in the South China Sea, and the involvement in military conflicts around the world. This conference provides a platform to review past U.N. member state recommendations for China and the origins of this Cold Genocide. The event will start at 11am MET (Geneva).
