The great dancer, who has gone down in history with extraordinary "performances," was born on December 12, 1889, in Kyiv, the second son of two dancers, Thomas Nijinsky and Eleanor Bereda. His childhood was poor and full of difficulties, but soon, according to his inclinations and aspirations, he was accepted into the Royal School of Dance of St.Petersburg.

Known as "The God of the Dance," Nijinsky is perhaps the most excellent dancer ever.
