Speaking at the Risk On 360! Global Success Conference in Las Vegas, Tucker Carlson offered a stark outlook on the upcoming 2024 presidential election and the current state of American politics and culture. He began his address by noting the widespread anger and paranoia among Americans, based on his observations and conversations.

“I flew out here across the country this morning and spent five hours texting people … and I gotta tell you, every single person I texted, with the exception of my wife — who’s not on the internet at all — was angry and paranoid,” Carlson said. He stressed that these feelings were not from the fringes but from ordinary, concerned citizens.

Carlson expressed that after evaluating their sentiments, he found their anger and paranoia justified. He anticipates these emotions will escalate in the next year, leading into an intense election season. “This is going to be — the next year is going to be, I think I’d bet my house on it, really like nothing we’ve ever seen in the country,” he asserted.

He further commented on human intuition in sensing impending significant events, drawing a parallel with animals’ ability to perceive changes in their environment. “And if something bad is about to happen, everybody gets jumpy. And everybody’s really jumpy right now,” he added.

In his speech, Carlson also provided insights on the political landscape, touching on President Joe Biden’s mental state and the legal challenges faced by former President Donald Trump. He also addressed social issues, including gender ideology.

Carlson emphasized the importance of trusting one’s instincts in these turbulent times. “If you feel like you’re being lied to, you’re 100 percent right — you are being lied to. And if you feel like something very intense in history is about to happen, don’t ignore it,” he advised.

He mentioned the global volatility in politics, particularly in the West, noting the peculiarity of the current presidential race. “You’ve got two people running for president — one of them is literally senile,” he said, referring to President Biden and implying that he is not fully in control of the White House.

Regarding Trump, Carlson noted, “Every time he gets indicted and every time they tack years onto this potential sentence, he becomes more popular — and now he’s winning.”

He concluded that the current political developments cannot be fully explained through conventional political terms. This observation comes against a backdrop of rising crime rates and inflation, with polls showing a significant portion of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. An ABC News/Ipsos poll indicates that nearly 76 percent of voters think the country is heading in the wrong direction, while a PRRI report shows that 52 percent believe America’s best days are behind.
