(NEWSnet) – Holiday cups, drinks and treats have returned to the menu at Starbucks, as the seasonal selections at its stores changed up on Nov. 2.
Featured beverages include the new Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai alongside annual favorites such as Peppermint Mocha and Chestnut Praline Latte. Holiday pastries and treats for the season include Cranberry Bliss Bar and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, according to the company announcement.
The Starbucks holiday cup collection is designed by Bridget Shilling with shades of red, green and magenta punctuated with glitter on the hot beverage cups; and a complimentary snowy white design on the cold beverage cups.
Starbucks says its holiday treat tradition started with a Christmas Blend whole bean coffee in 1984. This year’s Christmas and Holiday coffee blend varieties are available for purchase at Starbucks stores.
Some of the Starbucks brand holiday-flavored coffees and creamers also will be available for purchase at supermarkets during the next few weeks.
Starbucks introduced the Peppermint Mocha as a holiday season café beverage in 2002; and its popularity with customers inspired the creation of a fall season café beverage known as the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
