According to the Associated Press on Wednesday, July 17, a 34-year-old American male, whose name has not been released, was detained at Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The man, who has a history of stalking Swift, was apprehended after making online threats against the couple.

The stalker was arrested before he could cause any harm and will remain in detention until Swift concludes her three-night stint in the city on Friday.

This is not the first time Swift has had to deal with such incidents.
