How to make spaghetti sauce with ground beef ? | Simple and Easy!

Many children, even adults, like spaghetti very much. The most important factor that makes spaghetti delicious and attractive is spaghetti sauce. Today, I will show you how to make spaghetti sauce with ground beef, an easy and simple recipe. Follow the detailed instruction below for more information.

Ingredients (for 6 servings):

Homemade Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef Recipe

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp kosher salt to taste
  • 1 tsp ground pepper to taste

  1. Cut the onion in half then cut the stem end off and remove skin’s outer layer of the onion and slice into the onion towards the root end then chop it up.
  2. Chop up the garlic.
  3. Preheat the pan on medium heat, then add extra virgin olive oil, wait for a minute to warm up and move it around the pan.
  4. Add the ground beef to the pan and spread them out
  5. When the beef is brown, season it with some salt, fresh cracked black pepper, then mix them together.
  6. Take the cooked beef out. Add onion to the preheated pan and saute those around.
  7. Add the garlic and stir it around to get it all incorporated until you get that nice aroma from the garlic.
  8. Add some of the tomato sauce to deglaze the bottom of the pan, so you get all the goodness from the browned beef and browned off onion and garlic.
  9. Add the rest of the tomato sauce to the pan and stir them well.
  10. Add the ground beef that we browned up earlier to the pan, stir and mix well to incorporate the ground beef to the sauce and get it coated on all sides.
  11. Add the can of crushed tomatoes to the pan then mix them well together. Add some salt, Italian seasoning, and some cracked pepper and give it a good stir. Close a lid on it and let it simmer until the sauce is thick. Taste it and adjust the seasoning if you want.  
  12. Take your cooked spaghetti and place it on a plate. Put the spaghetti sauce with ground beef on and top up with some fresh grated parmigiano-reggiano. You have very delicious spaghetti.

  •  In order to remove the skin of garlic easily, you should cut the end of the garlic on each side, then give it a smack, so the skin can be released easily.
  •  When cook the beef, you should spread the beef out and give them some room so that the moisture can release and they can be brown
  • During cooking, if the pan getting too hot, you can add some more oil and then saute it a bit to avoid burning of the material
  • Depending on the quantity of servings, adjust the amount of the ingredients accordingly.
