House Oversight Chair Comer Obtains Majority of Hunter Biden’s Bank Records

By yourNEWS Media Staff

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has announced that the committee is now in possession of the majority of bank records pertaining to Hunter Biden, which were subpoenaed in an effort to explore potential connections to President Joe Biden’s foreign dealings. The acquisition of these records marks a significant advancement in the committee’s investigation, setting the stage for a potential summons of the Biden family to testify under oath.

On September 28, Comer issued subpoenas for the personal and business banking details of both Hunter and James Biden. The inquiry focuses on unraveling any direct financial ties to the president through these transactions.

In a recent episode of The Great America Show with Lou Dobbs, Comer affirmed that almost all requested banking information has been secured. “We’ve gotten almost all the bank records in,” he told Dobbs, highlighting the extensive number of accounts involved, which he described as one shell company operating with numerous bank accounts.

The Kentucky representative, who has experience as a bank board member, accused the Bidens of engaging in money laundering activities. “They laundered money,” he stated during the interview. Comer expressed confidence that due to the bank records obtained, the committee is close to demanding testimony from the Bidens, suggesting it would be a matter of days before they are served.

A recent tweet embedded within the committee’s communications elaborated on the relevance of these records, suggesting that the documents will underpin the questioning of the Bidens under oath. “I think that we’ve just about got enough bank records to where we can bring them in and ask them specific questions with specific hard evidence in the form of bank statements,” Comer articulated.

On Wednesday, Comer made a claim that in 2017, Joe Biden allegedly received $40,000 from an account associated with CEFC China Energy Co. The funds, Comer suggested, were channeled through James and Sara Biden and marked as a “loan repayment,” constituting the second reported instance of the president accepting a personal check from his brother James, who has been linked to the family’s business operations. These checks, according to Comer, are “direct evidence” of the president financially benefiting from the family’s business ventures.

White House spokesperson Ian Sams has countered Comer’s allegations, dismissing them as “lies and conspiracy theories,” without providing detailed rebuttals or supporting evidence to challenge the claims.

Comer, undeterred by the White House’s response, vowed to press forward with the investigation, indicating that new evidence continues to surface. “We continue — on at least a weekly basis — to come up with more evidence, more checks, more wires,” Comer committed to his investigative efforts during his dialogue with Dobbs.
