(NEWSnet) – You might be in the mood for Christmas pop music as Thanksgiving fades out and the Christmas decorating and gift-wrapping season hits hits peak.
If so, our friends at Parade Magazine have compiled a list of their 200 Best Christmas Songs in the genre with a list of hits ranging from Bruce Springsteen to Run-D.M.C.
Their top pick is Mariah Carey’s 1994 tune “All I Want for Christmas is You.” The boppy pop piece became a holiday season classic, rising in popularity until it finally hit No. 1 on the charts in 2019. Carey even was honored with a Barbie doll in her image for 2023, wearing a red holiday dress from a later edition of the music video.
The other top 5 on Parade’s pop list are:

- Bing Crosby and David Bowie, “Peace on Earth / Little Drummer Boy.”
- Elton John, “Step Into Christmas.”
- José Feliciano, “Feliz Navidad.”
