Want to make your channel & videos available in multiple languages to get more exposure on Gan Jing World? It's very simple! Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open “Creator Studio” on the Gan Jing World website.
Step 2: On the "Content" tab from the left directory, you can find the videos or live premieres that you want to add in multiple languages.
Step 3: After clicking into the video you would like to adjust, select the "Subtitles" tab on the far left, here you will be able to add different languages. There are more than a dozen languages on Gan Jing World.
Step 4: Add a unique video thumbnail, title, and video description for each desired language. Users who access your video with their language setting set to one of your configured languages will see the thumbnail, title, etc. you have chosen for that language setting. You can also add your video subtitles here. The file formats currently supported for upload are srt and vtt.
After making your changes, remember to click “Save” on the upper right corner.
Step 5: You can also edit the subtitle in the Subtitle Preview.
Step 6: If you want to make your channel multilingual, you can find “Channel Settings” on the top-left menu directory.
Step 7: On the “Channel Settings” page, select the “Basic Info” tab located above your channel banner. Click “Add language” to make your "Channel Name & Description" multilingual. Please remember to click “Save” on the upper right corner. You can go to your channel page to see what the effects different languages have by adjusting your language settings
Step 8: How do you switch to different languages and see the content you just changed? Just open the channel or the video link. In the upper right corner, select the language icon which will display multiple languages. Find the language you just adjusted, and then click on it to see its effects.
