Newburgh man arrested in connection with shooting of two people

NEWBURGH – A 32-year-old Newburgh man has been arrested on charges in connection with the July 31 shooting of two people that occurred at 8:30 a.m. at 38 Spring Street in Newburgh.

Jason Brown was located, arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

The case was investigated by the Non-Fatal Shooting Task Force. The announcement of Brown’s arrest in connection with the October 6 incident was not made public until this Friday, October 18.
