Caio Borralho Tops Jared Cannonier at UFC Fight Night; Multiple Knockouts Highlight the Card

Caio Borralho delivered a dominant performance at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, defeating Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision. The judges scored the bout 49-45, 49-45, and 48-46, marking Borralho’s seventh consecutive victory in the UFC and extending his overall win streak to 14 fights, following a no-contest in June 2018. Cannonier’s defeat adds to his recent struggles, having lost three of his last five fights.

In other title action on the night, Ryan Loder claimed the middleweight championship with a knockout win over Robert Valentin, while Mairon Santos captured the featherweight title with a knockout of Kaan Ofli.

Michael Morales and Wang Cong also made headlines with their impressive knockout victories in the welterweight and women’s flyweight divisions, respectively.

Additional winners included women’s strawweight Tabatha Ricci, middleweights Gerald Meerschaert and Zachary Reese, lightweights Francis Marshall and Viacheslav Borshchev, and women’s bantamweight Jacqueline Cavalcanti.
