Video-sharing platform Gan Jing World hosted the award ceremony for its “2023 Kindness Is Cool Video Awards” in Times Square, New York City, on March 8, 2024. More than 100 winners and students who participated in the contest gathered and cheered when the giant electronic billboard played winner videos about kindness, drawing a large crowd and media attention. The Kindness Is Cool Video Awards is a global initiative by Gan Jing World that incentivizes kindness, calling to action individuals and organizations to showcase kind acts, both big and small, to contribute to a wave of positive change in today's world.
