LUNENBURG — Folk duo Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, through their years of worldwide touring and tireless devotion to many classic genres of music, have crafted Hungrytown into a true artistic hybrid, able to hold Celtic and Americana, ballads and psychedelia, sunshine and darkness, joy, and despair — not only within the same album, but within the same song.
The community is welcomed to their live concert planned for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the Lunenburg Public Library, 1023 Massachusetts Ave.
This Vermont-based group will perform original songs featuring close harmony singing as well as accompaniment on a variety of instruments.
Hungrytown has been touring internationally for more than fifteen years and their original, award-winning songs have been featured on many television shows and documentaries.
Their music has received radio airplay worldwide, and they have earned a reputation for the quality and authenticity of their songwriting.
This concert is sponsored in part by funding for the Lunenburg Public Library Monthly Music Series, supported by North End Subaru.
