King George V of England (1865-1936), full name George Frederick Ernest Albert, was the second English king of the Windsor dynasty. He reigned from 1910 until his death in 1936. George V was the son of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. George V became king upon the death of his father in 1910. He was a respected and loved king by the British people, especially during the First World War.
